I decided to stop doing the other lessons for this week and concentrate on the important basics of the alphabet and penmanship of the letters, as well as counting 1-20 with ease and knowing the numbers by site. 11-20 are the main focus, as she knows the smaller numbers. Morgan can count on her own 1-20 with ease, it's the site of the numbers 11-20 and having to pick the number out when asked as well as asked what number each flashcard 11-20 is. #13 seems to be the difficult one right now and she gets frustrated so we take it slow.
We will resume the other lessons in week 2 since penmanship and recognition of A-Z and 1-20 are frequent on her mind. Math and English in week 2 will be a review until I feel we are ready to move onto the next area of learning. These are basics and need to be learned now.
